Point Udall is a somewhat remote point at the far eastern end of the island of St. Croix. The island is home to many micro climates and Point Udall makes one think of a semi-arid locale given the scr…Full review by BadgerTripper

A beautiful drive to get there. The view was gorgeous. Lots of people drove here to hike the surrounding terrain. A great place to take photos. An interesting tribute.Full review by grsammo

Great views. Was a little cloudy but that made the sunrise that much better. You are up high so the view looking down on the water as the rays hit are amazingFull review by Mike N
How difficult would this hike be with a 18month old? She's very adventurous and would definitely want to walk some, while we would use a carrier when she gets tired.

Can you tell us about the yacht club...and the area? Is there alot of crime on the east end of St. Croix? We plan on renting a place out that way for the views to Buck Island and proximity to the boats.... any other things about St. Croix for a first time visitor? We have gone to St. Thomas and St; John...but never St. Croix... any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

I'll defer to the locals for accurate crime stats, but as a recent visitor, I'll do my best on the east end. The east side is beautiful and has some incredible views. It is much more quiet, and many areas would best be described as untouched. We rented a jeep and the drives through the east end were very relaxing. The main "action" for St. Croix will be more towards the cities of C-Sted and F-Sted. We stayed at the Buccaneer and the views of the water were pretty spectacular. Once you get past the Buccaneer heading eastward, it becomes more and more sparse. On the southern side of the eastern end of the island you can also find beautiful cliffs leading down to the water. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, the east end is a good fit. Just be aware that you will need to drive into C-sted for most of the food and entertainment options (except for a few favorites like Duggan's, Ziggy's, and the casino).
