There is probably a parking garage nearby and you MAY find street parking especially if you're driving in on a weekend, but unless you love hunting for spaces and driving in a busy city, I'd avoid it. Subway, taxis (ubers can be expensive) can be less stressful. Depending on the people in your party you may want to check out the Essex Street Market. We had lunch there and found it busy and fun.

Yes there is a movie. You can really see it before and after. It is pretty good. Also - they mention the Puerto Rican migration in the 40s-50s if you are interested. It is not on the tour.

They have lockers down near the restrooms, but I'm not sure if they're large enough to accommodate a full suitcase. You might want to call them and ask.
