The museum is a must while in Venice. The sumptuous ceilings (including from Tiepolo), the Canaletto and Guardi paintings are worth the visit. There is also an old apothecary exposed. The historica… Full review by caroline2

We had absolutely zero problem with tickets. Just turned up and we were in. We arrived at about 12.00, which you would think to be peak time, and it was quiet. Lovely place and well …

We had absolutely zero problem with tickets. Just turned up and we were in. We arrived at about 12.00, which you would think to be peak time, and it was quiet. Lovely place and well worth the effort. Nice little cafe by the ticket office - perfect for a rest after the visit and there's a lot to see. It's worth reading about the history of the house before visiting - truly amazing and relevant to one of the Canalettos in the building.

Yes, they put it behind the desk, I don't remember any lockers; but they don't charge for holding it.

10 euros a ticket. Get a museum pass for 25 each and you can enter most museums
