I believe you can bring in snacks. There's a small lounge type area with a few tables and some snack and drink machines if I remember correctly. We never used that area but I think I remember seeing in on the left side after the check in area but before you get into the play area. I don't think you can take them into the play area. We did a birthday party once and cupcakes were ok, but only in the upstairs party room. I hope this is helpful!

I believe it is $10 but I am not 100% sure. My son has an annual membership which includes unlimited visits for both parents, one guest and the child. It also gives us free access to DIscovery Place in uptown. You also receive 2 free parking passes for uptown as parking costs $5 if you are a member ($8 for non members) plus other benefits. That package costs $185 and covers 12 months from the last day of the month in which you purchase it. If you plan on going multiple times, the annual membership is worth it. I believe you may be allowed 1 trial visit if you plan to buy the membership package as we did.
