The newly released police documents revealed the horrifying extent of the crimes and an unnerving sighting by one of the victims' surviving roommates in the days leading up to the killings. They also indicate that at least one of the victims fought back intensely.

More than 300 documents released by the Moscow Police Department on Wednesday revealed grisly new details about the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students and the exhaustive investigation that led to Bryan Kohberger's apprehension.

The family of Kaylee Goncalves, one of four University of Idaho students murdered in 2022, issued a statement in response to documents detailing the investigation.

The College Murders premiered on Amazon Prime Video on July 11, 2025, and has since garnered widespread attention for its sensitive yet gripping investigation into the murders of four University of Idaho students.
