Perry will start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. He continues by saying that Perry will be the only member of the team to start camp on the PUP, which is good news.
Broncos wide receiver A.T. Perry ( ankle) has been designated as physically unable to perform, according to the NFL's transaction wire. Perry still counts against the team's active roster, and he is eligible to be activated from the list as soon as he's able to practice. Going on the list simply means Perry is not yet able to practice.
Broncos coach Sean Payton said last month that wide receiver A.T. Perry could miss the start of training camp, and that indeed will be the case. Denver on Sunday placed Perry on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list in advance of camp getting underway this week at Broncos Park.

Perry (undisclosed) was placed on the active/PUP list by the Broncos on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Perry will open Denver's training camp on the sidelines with an undisclosed injury after signing a reserve/future contract with the team in January.
The Broncos return most of the defensive front that helped fuel a team record of 63 sacks in 2024, but intriguing depth battles remain.
Luke Wattenberg is set to be a free agent, and Ben Powers is overpaid, and they can get out of his deal after this year. Those reasons are why the Broncos must determine what they have in terms of depth on the offensive line, especially at the interior positions.
