Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a $50 million dollar defamation lawsuit against Courtney Burgess, his lawyer, Ariel Mitchell and NewsNation owner Nextstar Media Inc.

The lawsuit, which also names Nextstar, targets assertions from Courtney Burgess' lawyer, who said in interviews that her client possessed videos depicting sexual encounters involving Combs and other celebrities.

The lawsuit names Courtney Burgess, a one-time music industry bit player, his lawyer and the owner of the cable network NewsNation, which aired an interview with Mr. Burgess.
