A High Wind Warning is in effect for the coast from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. tomorrow, with a High Wind Advisory for the valleys and Portland metro area during the same time period. Sustained winds on the coast will reach up to 40 mph,

Clouds return with scattered showers tomorrow; cold front moves through Friday, increasing rain across the area.

Expect a chillier morning as you step out the door with 40s showing up to start the day. Cooler weather will linger through the rest of the week with our next chance of rain arriving on Thursday.

Temperatures on Veterans Day will likely climb into the mid-70s. The Veterans Day Parade in Birmingham should be dry with a partly cloudy sky.

The rain gear will be needed for most of Sunday. Winds will ramp up later Sunday night and for Monday with gusts up to 40 mph

Rain will be around for Saturday night and, at times, on Sunday as well.

The First Alert Weather Team says it’s going to be a warm weekend. Temperatures will continue to be far above average through the weekend. Highs will be 80-85 with lows in the 60s to low 70s. A few scattered showers will move west off the Atlantic on & off through the weekend but still plenty of dry hours.

Monday could start out with clouds and an isolated rain chance, but I think clouds will slowly decrease Monday afternoon giving us a mostly sunny sky. Temperatures on Veterans Day will likely climb into the mid 70s.

Friday will be easily the best day to get outside; more rain is expected over the weekend and in the middle of next week.
