The Oregon Ducks once again remain perched at No. 1 this week while the Ohio State Buckeyes also held onto the second spot in the re-rank. The Texas Longhorns moved up three places to No. 3 followed by the Indiana Hoosiers and Penn State Nittany Lions, who advanced one and two spots, respectively.

Author Chris Vannini dropped the Gators three spots from No. 51 last week to No. 54 after the loss to the Longhorns. That puts Florida between the No. 53 North Carolina Tar Heels and No. 55 Michigan State Spartans — the two schools that bookended them in last week’s re-rank.

The Longhorns are third in the second College Football Rankings but still have three SEC games remaining, including at Arkansas and Texas A&M.
