A Swedish prosecutor has released five suspects detained over the murder of anti-Islam activist Salwan Momika, who was shot dead in Sodertalje. The suspicion against them weakened during the investigation.

An Iraqi refugee and anti-Islam campaigner was shot dead in Sweden late on Wednesday, just hours before he was due to receive a court verdict following a trial over burning the Koran, a court document showed on Thursday.

Salwan Momika was facing four counts of agitating an ethnic group and a trial verdict had been due the day after his death
