Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Netflix's Christmas football games scored record-breaking viewership. According to the streamer, over 24 million people tuned in for both the 1 p.m. match-up between the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as the 4:30 p.m. game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans .

As expected, Netflix’s Christmas football games have drawn a high demand. As a result of the large audience (and the common issues with internet streaming), many Netflix users complained of issues streaming the Kansas City Chiefs vs.

The NFL has scheduled a pair of AFC showdowns for Christmas Day, both of which will be streaming exclusively on Netflix. In the first game the Kansas City Chiefs will try and lock down the top spot in the AFC when they travel east to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
