Bracketville's Dave Ommen has Memphis in his latest bracket as a 5-seed against McNeese State in Denver. Meanwhile, On3's James Fletcher III has the Tigers slotted as a 6-seed versus facing either North Carolina or BYU in Providence.

With a 6-1 start in the AAC and his team poised to earn its best tournament seed since John Calipari, Penny Hardaway is finally changing the hearts and minds of some of the same national media that once doubted him.

Penny Hardaway has made a change to the Memphis basketball starting lineup for the UAB game. For the first time in 16 games, Dain Dainja will get the starting nod of Moussa Cisse at center Sunday (noon, ESPN2), Hardaway said during a pregame radio interview with play-by-play man Dave Woloshin.

So, he started pushing buttons. Hardaway dialed up the defensive pressure, but Temple was ready for it. He went with a four-guard lineup next, but all that did was dig a deeper rebounding hole. He tried to account for it with more shooters on the floor, but they weren’t hitting.
