A New Jersey State Police detective fatally shot a man Tuesday afternoon during an investigation in Camden County, investigators said.

Gresham police arrested a 62-year-old man in connection with the 2024 fatal shooting of William “Tom” Vaughn in their residential community. Randy Saiville was indicted last week by a Multnomah County grand jury on charges of first-degree murder, theft and other counts. He was arrested Tuesday morning near his home, police said.
