The ticket matched four winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Wednesday, Jan. 8, the California Lottery said. The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $240 million with a cash option of $107.4 million. The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. The lottery jackpot was an estimated $240 million with a cash option of $107.4 million for Wednesday night's drawing, according to the Powerball website. The jackpot was last won on Dec. 7 when a New York lottery player won a $256 million Powerball jackpot.

Although there was no jackpot Powerball winner on Wednesday, there was a $50,000 Powerball prize won in Massachusetts. The winning ticket was purchased from Winners Corner in North Andover. The store sells board games, puzzles, playing cards and lottery tickets.
