Cumberland County's proposed 2025 budget includes a 4% property tax hike. If approved, the tax changes will raise county revenues by $2.75 million, at an average cost to the taxpayer of $22.42 a year. That amount is based on a home assessed at $222,000, which is the county's average home value.
