An Israeli strike killed 15 people, including women and children, gathered outside a health center in the central Gazan city of Deir Al Balah on Thursday, according to medical staff and officials in the enclave.

DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — European officials struck a new deal with Israel to allow desperately needed food and fuel into Gaza, the European Union’s foreign policy chief said Thursday as Israeli airstrike killed 10 children and five adults waiting for care outside a medical clinic.

At least 17 people, mostly children, were killed in the strike near a Project HOPE clinic in Gaza, officials said. Malnutrition rates are rising in the Strip.
