MOSCOW, March 2 (Reuters) - Russian President ⁠Vladimir ⁠Putin told UAE ⁠President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan ​in a phone call on Monday that he was ‌ready to relay his ‌complaints about Iranian strikes against UAE ⁠territory ⁠to Tehran, the Kremlin said.

Iran has operated many types of air defense systems, including Russian-made designs targeted by Israel in recent years.

Though some Iranians mourned the death of their supreme leader, others rejoiced. Their celebrations were furtive and short-lived to avoid riot police or other authorities.

Semi-official IRGC news outlet Tasnim reported that two explosions were witnessed in the area of the broadcasting building. The IDF on Monday struck the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB)

The government provided little advice in the days before the attacks or as the bombs fell, more than a dozen Iranians said in interviews.

Photos taken during and after the strikes showed damage to Fairmont's luxury hotel in Dubai.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) says it destroyed air defence installations as well as missile and drone launch sites.
