Thousands of aftershocks following the deadly Tibet earthquake early this month continue to cause havoc and instability in the most affected areas amid ongoing humanitarian efforts. More than 3,600 aftershocks have been recorded since the M6.

A rural county in the Chinese region of Tibet, still feeling tremors from last week’s magnitude 6.8 earthquake, was jolted on Monday night by two powerful aftershocks barely a minute apart.
