President Trump's crypto project World Liberty Financial (WLFI) has now acquired over $388 million worth of digital assets, according to on-chain data.

World Liberty Financial, the decentralized finance (DeFi) project linked to President Donald Trump, plans to buy more of Tron's TRX token just days after a $2.6 million purchase, according to a person familiar with its plans.

World Liberty Financial is "directly connected to our new crypto president Donald Trump," said Sigil Fund, a Gibraltar-based fund whose chief investment officer is one of the investors. The CIO, who goes only by the pseudonym "Fiskantes," spent 40 ether tokens, worth around $130,000 on Wednesday on $WLFI tokens, it said via email.

World Liberty, backed by Trump, acquired $70M in ETH, LINK, AAVE and TRON, significantly boosting its portfolio to $325M.

The DeFi protocol linked to Donald Trump added Wrapped Bitcoin and other assets to its balance sheet in an Inauguration Day buying spree.
