Amazon has since doubled down on its advertising efforts, following the successful launch of its new plan – UK ratings body Barb found that 86% of homes are now signed up to its ad-tier – and we can only expect more growth to occur as Amazon Freevee users migrate to Prime Video.

While specific viewership data remains undisclosed, Amazon reported a tripling of Freevee's monthly active users between 2020 and 2022, reaching 65 million. That substantial user base will be added to the platforms existing audience. This will only strengthen Prime Video's position in the streaming market.
