A 14-year-old shooting suspect who had a a high-capacity Glock 17 handgun in his possession was arrested by detectives this week.

Police said the suspect, a 14-year-old boy, had a loaded handgun with a magazine that could hold up to 34 bullets.

New Bedford police said they arrested a 14-year-old in connection with a shooting on Thursday. On Tuesday, police said they were able to locate the teen who was a suspect in a shooting that took place in early September at an apartment on Studley Street,
