India has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the series-opening T20 against England's cricketers in Kolkata.

The India vs England 1st T20I will be played at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. The 1st T20I between India and England will be broadcast live on the Star Sports Network. The match will also be available for live streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

England kick off their first white-ball series against India in three years today in Kolkata, with head coach Brendon McCullum looking to mould his side ahead of next month's Champions Trophy.  The fall out from England's disappointing performance at last year's T20 World Cup saw McCullum take charge of the limited-overs squad,

The Indian team delivered a brilliant performance in the first T20I of the ongoing white-ball series against England. Speaking of the game, England came in to bat first and posted a total 132 runs in the first innings of the game.
