Jinkx Monsoon announces her return to Broadway, in this swashbuckling new role
This time Jinkx will star as a pirate maid named Ruth, who previously was brought to life by Angela Lansbury in the film adaptation of the musical. Ruth is the hearing-impaired apprentice of Frederic to the Pirate King who grew up to be a buccaneer. Jinkx will be playing opposite David Hyde Pierce and Ramin Karimloo.

Running from 4 April to 22 June, Pirates! The Penzance Musical will be directed by Scott Ellis at the Todd Haimes Theatre.
