Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Neeraj Chopra has appointed javelin throw legend Jan Zelezny as his new coach ahead of the 2025 season. The former Czech athlete is a World and Olympic champion. He is also the world record holder with a throw of 98.48m.

Three-time Olympic gold medalist Jan Zelezny will coach India's javelin star Neeraj Chopra in the upcoming season.

Neeraj Chopra, 26, recently brought an end to his five-year association with former coach Dr. Klaus Bartonietz and will now be coached by Czech Republic great Jan Zelezny.

Double Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra announced the start of an exciting new chapter in his career on Saturday as he partner with Javelin legend Jan Železný, who comes on board as his new coach.
