Some newly surfaced evidence suggests a hit Resident Evil game from the Xbox 360 era could be making a comeback in the near future.

Resident Evil 5 may soon get a native current-gen console version, as the ESRB has rated it for the Xbox Series platform.

Last month, the ESRB also classified Resident Evil 6 for Xbox Series X/S, suggesting both titles could be coming to current-gen consoles soon.

Resident Evil 5 looks set to head to the PS5 after the ESRB rated the game for Xbox Series X/S. It's unlikely the game would be exclusive to Microsoft's console.
