Kevin Franke has finalized his divorce with Ruby Franke after her incarceration on charges she abused their chidren with her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt -- plus, legislation he championed to protect children featured in online content signed into law by Utah governor.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox signed a bill into law on Tuesday that establishes new protections for children featured in online content created by their parents. The law, which requires parents to set aside money for their children featured in monetized social media content and allows adults to request content they were featured in as minors be deleted

Ruby Franke amassed about 2.5 million followers on social media while documenting her family’s life on the “8Passengers” page.
