More than 700 flights nationwide have been canceled Saturday as the FAA continues limiting flight capacity at 40 major U.S. airports amid the government shutdown.
“If you’re traveling during this period and do not wish to fly, you’re eligible for a refund — even if your flight isn’t impacted. That includes non-refundable tickets and Basic Economy tickets. For more information, see Travel Waivers ,” United wrote.
Over 5,000 flights traveling into, out of and within the U.S. have been delayed as of this evening, according to FlightAware.com.
