Indian cricket team pacer Akash Deep was right on the money in his first spell in the 1st test between India and Bangladesh in Chennai as he knocked out Zakir Hasan and Mominul Haque in two consecutive deliveries to strengthen India’s position in the test match.

Akash was introduced in the seventh over after Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah opened the bowling for the hosts, and made an instant impression by striking twice in as many deliveries in just his second over.

After Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja got India out of jail to post 376 in their first innings on the second day of the opening Test against Bangladesh in Chennai, Akash Deep turned on the heat with his bowling to hurt the visitors before lunch at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
