SEC Media Days are in the rearview mirror. Now, the conference is turning its attention to practice and the upcoming 2025 season, which should be one of the most competitive in the conference’s recent memory.
The event dates to 1985, meaning the Crimson Tide broke a four-decade streak. Alabama did have wide receiver Ryan Williams and Kadyn Proctor on the first-team offense, but no first-team defensive players for the first time in the event’s history.
Alabama had 15 members on the 2024 preseason media team including first team members in offensive lineman Tyler Booker, linebacker Deontae Lawson, safety Malachi Moore, punter James Burnip and long snapper Kneeland Hibbett.
