At a time of year when little counts regarding NBA scores and statistics, Miami Heat center Kel’el Ware made a definitive statement in Sunday night’s Las Vegas NBA Summer League loss

After an underwhelming start to summer league, Ware was far more aggressive, active and engaged, hitting a hook shot on Miami's first possession en route to an 11-point first quarter that also included an alley-oop dunk (from Javonte Cooke), a three-pointer, two blocks and a steal.

Miami Heat big man Kel'el Ware was on the receiving end of some harsh criticism from his head coach, Erik Spoelstra, recently. Having been called out for his professionalism and work ethic, the Heat sophomore responded by delivering a dominant performance during his recent Summer League outing against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
