The full Moon November 2024 is known as the Beaver Moon since beavers begin to build their dams before the ground freezes. This is a time when many have to prepare for winter, and when some of the first snow falls in the northern United States and Canada happen. It’s a time when most trees and shrubs have shed their leaves.

Known as the beaver moon, November's full moon is also a supermoon, meaning it will appear slightly bigger and brighter than the usual full moon. Though officially full on Friday, Nov. 15,

The next beaver moon will reach its peak in the United States on Friday, November 15 at 4:28 p.m. ET. This is the final supermoon of 2024, meaning it will be around 15% brighter than a regular full moon. The fact that it also happens to reach its peak at night means it will be extremely visible.
