NEW BEDFORD, MASS. (WJAR) — A Dartmouth man is facing a murder charge in a fatal stabbing on Friday in New Bedford. According to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, Tyler Dow Baglini, 31, was taken into custody shortly after the incident and was held overnight at Saint Luke's Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

An “extremely active” investigation is underway after a 31-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in New Bedford Friday, according to a press release from Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III’s office.
