Austin Police Department detectives are investigating the second homicide of 2025 after a body was found at an apartment complex in east Austin overnight.

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are investigating after a body was found early Thursday morning in Central East Austin. According to the Austin Police Department (APD), the deceased person was found sometime before 2:30 a.m. in the 5700 block of Manor Rd, not far from Rogge Lane and 51st St.
