The report by David Ornstein on X (formerly Twitter) states that Forest have submitted a bid for Wissa, in the region of £22million as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of a Champions League push. However, their bid is 'significantly' below Brentford's valuation of the 28-year-old, and it will not be accepted.
Whether Forest increase their bid to sign Wissa remains to be seen, but there's no denying just how much of an impact he could make in the second half of the campaign.
