Julius Randle led Minnesota with 23 points, while Anthony Edwards scored 21 and Rudy Gobert posted 10 points and 12 rebounds. The Wolves took 31 free throws and made 24 of them, while the Magic went 13-of-19 from the stripe.

Orlando and Minnesota square off in non-conference action. Thursday's matchup is the first of the season between the two teams.
