Police have confirmed they are back at the scene of a new security alert at the playing fields on Church Road, the home of East Belfast GAA.

A security alert at the Henry Jones playing fields in east Belfast has ended. Police said a suspicious object which was found on Tuesday evening turned out to be nothing untoward. Church Road was closed on Tuesday evening between Manse Road and Marlborough Heights after the object was found.
