The other 2025 Super Bowl performers include Lauren Daigle and Trombone Shorty, who are singing “America the Beautiful,” Ledisi, who is performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and Kendrick Lamar, who is headlining the halftime show.

The Oscar- and Grammy-winning singer, musician and composer – who doubles as leader of the house band for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” – belted out the anthem at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, where the the Philadelphia Eagles again take on the Kansas City Chiefs for a shot at victory.

The 2025 Super Bowl began with an absolutely incredible performance of the national anthem from New Orleans native Jon Batiste and absolutely no one is surprised. The Grammy and Oscar-winner put on a show worthy of the Superdome — and created some intrigue for bettors, too.
