Arsenal have announced the signing of England forward Chloe Kelly on loan from Manchester City. Kelly, 27, returns to the Gunners having come through the club’s academy, making 19 first-team appearances between 2015 and 2018 before joining Everton.

Manchester City winger Chloe Kelly has said she “accepts her future is not at this club” beyond the expiration of her contract in June and said her mental wellbeing has been adversely impacted after being “dictated to whom I can and can’t join”.

Chloe Kelly has completed a deadline day loan from Manchester City to former club Arsenal. Kelly, England's European Championship hero in 2022, had fallen badly out of favour in the blue half of Manchester and will now finish the 2024/25 campaign wearing red instead, at which point her contract with City will expire.
