Yankees manager Aaron Boone says he doesn't want his players to behave in the same manner as some Dodgers players did after L.A. beat N.Y. in the World Series.

Three months after the World Series, Yankees manager Aaron Boone remained unhappy with some of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ remarks after they beat a sloppy New York team in five games for the title.

But to be fair to the Dodgers, the Yankees did have dreadful base running in the series. It’s not classless to point that out. Plus, the Dodgers didn’t do anything in the actual series that would be perceived as poor form. That designation, though, belonged to a couple Yankees fans. Look at those guys before talking about class.

An 82-80 season in 2023 provided the Yankees a built-in edge for 2024 that got them to the World Series. Now they’ll be looking for new edge in 2025.
