Famer Kurt Angle believes they wasted him doing the honors to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 when they released the veteran wrestler a couple of weeks ago. Many around the professional wrestling industry were surprised when it was reported that former NXT tag and WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin was among a trio of veterans released by the company.

Baron Corbin defeated Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35 in Angle's retirement match. Corbin entered into a feud with WWE Champion Seth Rollins after WrestleMania 35, but didn't win the title. Corbin was featured regularly on television throughout his WWE career, but never had a sustained presence in the title picture following his feud with Rollins.

Baron Corbin posted the following tweet reacting to Kurt Angle’s comments: To be fair, that’s one of the reasons I wish I had become world champ! It would paid honor to what Kurt did for me. I will forever appreciate it and wish I could have done more to make it worth it

The company picked Baron Corbin to retire Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35, something that’s never sat well with the Olympic gold medalist and WWE Hall of Famer. Their decision to move on from Corbin doesn’t help.
