The Los Angeles Angels take on the New York Mets after Nolan Schanuel had four hits on Tuesday in a 3-2 loss to the Mets.

On Monday night, Francisco Alvarez made his return after spending nearly a month with Triple-A Syracuse and a big double and scored two runs. Juan Soto tied the game with a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning and Brett Baty scored the go-ahead run on a ground ball to the left side one inning later.

The Los Angeles Angels and New York Mets play the second game of their 3-game series Tuesday at Citi Field in Flushing, New York.
