Connecticut warming centers were funded by COVID-19 relief dollars, which are set to expire. Shelter organizers are worried about how they will keep their doors open.

Roughly 20 sites across the city are open during the day, during the night or 24/7. City officials say everyone is welcome.

While the snow has moved out, bitterly cold temperatures and biting winds have moved in. Philadelphia has opened 20 new warming centers for people who need them during the city's Code Blue emergency.
