The store closing announcement comes days after American Freight's parent company announced restructuring as part of a bankruptcy filing.

The News Release says that shoppers will be able to save up to 30% on the lowest ticketed items in their stores. Everything from dining room tables, bedroom furniture, living room furniture, as well as scratch and dent items like refrigerators, washers and dryers, and more, will be available for low prices.

A national furniture store chain is closing all 15 of its location in Michigan, with liquidation sales underway.

American Freight Appliances and Furniture recently “commenced store closing sales at all of its 328 locations and online,” according to a Wednesday, Nov. 6, news release from Hilco Consumer-Retail, which is managing the sales for American Freight.

Franchise Group, which owns American Freight, announced it is filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will be shuttering all of the furniture store's 328 locations.

The Tacoma location of American Freight will close along with the other 327 stores in the United States. The parent company of the nationwide appliance and furniture store, Franchise Group, began Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in federal court in Delaware.

A large furniture chain announced the closure of all of its locations nationwide earlier this month, including many in Virginia and one in Maryland. American Freight has already begun closing down its 328 locations and its online warehouse.
