The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating after a man was found fatally shot on Tuesday evening, July 22.

Officers were dispatched to the scene about 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a male dead from multiple gunshot wounds, personnel at the scene said.

Officers found Meliqiue Etienne, 22, dead from several gunshot wounds at a home near the 3700 block of Cathedral Drive.
