A man who spit on the sidewalk outside of his home in Boston is now charged with an unsolved 35-year-old murder.

Authorities said Holloman is facing a first-degree murder charge after being indicted and arrested by the Boston Police fugitive unit on Thursday in connection to the 1988 stabbing death of 25-year-old Karen Taylor, a resident of Boston's Roxbury neighborhood.

Forensic evidence found on fingernail scrapings from a woman slain in her Boston apartment ultimately led to the murder indictment this week of James Holloman, who is now charged in her death.
