From 7am tomorrow (Thursday, January 23) a yellow warning for wind will come into effect. The Met Office says gusts of up to 60mph are possible over coastal areas and hills. The warning is set to last until 6pm and covers all of Cornwall, Plymouth, most of Dartmoor and North Devon.

MORE weather warnings have been issued for Dorset in the wake of Storm Eowyn. Winds of between 50 and 60mph could hit the county on Sunday, the Met Office has warned. A yellow warning will be in place from 8am on Sunday,

The Met Office has issued an urgent update on a previously issued red alert as Storm Eowyn causes mass chaos across the UK with widespread travel disruptions and school closures.
