Nacho Alvarez is one of the best prospects in the Atlanta Braves' system. He's finally gotten a chance to be a full-time player thanks to Austin Riley's injury.

Riley landed on the 10-day injured list on July 12th due to a strained right abdomen. Skipper Brian Snitker said he did not experience a setback, but the club is just playing it safe. Until Riley’s return, we’ve got Nacho Alvarez Jr. in the hot corner.

Tim Hyers’ first season as Braves hitting coach has not gone as planned, which many Braves fans would say is a major understatement. But the Braves’ biggest star, Ronald Acuña Jr., offered unsolicited praise for Hyers after Monday’s win against the Giants and Snitker seconded it Tuesday afternoon.
