Aug 26, 2020 · AutoCAD is probably the easiest tool to get you simple organic shape. Here I just draw bunch of Polyline and then use PEDIT to spline the polyline into organic profile. Next I use the LOFT command and select all three lines. Insert the CAD and do full explode. Result is you will get 3d object made and it will convert to Revit object.

As you can see in the section the base of the lamp is underneath the sofa, in the plan it is on top of the sofa. How do I fix it in the plan so it appears below the sofa?

How can I assign materials to the furniture I've built?
Oct 29, 2013 · You can open the furniture family file, then select the geometry, in its properties, set Material. See "material1.JPG". You can apply different materials to different geometry part in the family file. Then load the furniture family into project, go to Manage- -Materials, change the display of the material. Thanks.

05-11-2022 05:37 PM. Only plant families can be scaled in project. For all other families, you need to edit and scale their content. Not seeing what you are trying to do, I suggest look into stretching the dimensions of the family using parameters instead of scaling. It maybe just what you need.
