I would search the grocery stores for Butoni Toaster Pizzas. This was before personal computers so I had no information as to their demise. As soon as I got a computer I looked them up, sadly finding out they were history.

It seems that in the early to mid 70's there was a boom for at home personal pizza or some variation of them.

Buttoni made toaster pizzas. I LOVED toaster pizza and they were lunch almost every day. I wish Buttoni would make them again so my children could experience them...

Anyone else have this expereience, or did we just have a lousy toaster? You had to toast them well, at least two full times, to get the center as hot as the outer bites, sometimes burning the crust. But, they were delicious! Actually they came SIX in a box, like frozen waffles, not four. I remember because it was my favorite after-school snack.

Oct 23, 2020 · These frozen pastries were like Toaster Strudels or Eggo Waffles, but they were savory, rather than sweet. Putting cheese in a regular toaster is just asking for disaster, though, so it's not a huge surprise this frozen pizza pastry didn't last.

I do remember them but I got plain pizza slices like Ellios. With the advent of the micro/convection wave oven I believe the need for these diminshed and they were phased out.

Dec 12, 2024 · I loved the turkey and gravy. The ones I miss most are the Pizza Hut personal pan pizza and McDs apple pies. There's a very dive bar looking place around here that advertises broasted chicken but it's the only one and I've seriously considered going in just for that.
