Jun 5, 2021 · I've purchased 2 CLX units from Best Buy and haven't had any issues with either. I just ordered another one, this time from clxgaming.com direct. It's nice to have the chance to hand-pick all the pieces, and unlike Dell and HP, all the parts are off-the-shelf standard. No proprietary nonsense. Their customer service is very good.

Aug 30, 2021 · Prebuilt computers don’t leave you much room to upgrade, if at all. Build a custom rig from the start, especially if you intend to upgrade. If you want to keep to a tight budget, you have patience, and you don’t mind used parts, you can wait for deals on r/buildapcsales and build a sweet rig over time when the price is right.

Sep 20, 2020 · Actually haven't heard of CLX, but it seems like they offer a similar service. NZXT is more popular, but it doesn't mean it's a better value or anything. I was just suggesting it's worth while checking them out. The UI for creating a build is great in my opinion.

CLX, the gaming brand name of Cybertron PC. They have been making custom PCs for years. Typically overpriced, but reliable builds. They’ve been reviewed by major publications like CNET and their builds are sold online at Amazon and their own website and in actual stores like Walmart and Best Buy. So, they are real. They get good reviews.

I hadn't built a computer in a while, and just wanted something that seemed decent without the hassle of assembling it myself. The value wasn't great, but that was my fault for not doing proper research.
